Our preliminary task today is to do a check-in with you on your status reguarding a CTE Industry Credential which is part of APS's Graduation Requirements.

The main task today will be to identify the different types of businesses the child care providers in your groups zip codes use.

I did some web investigation and wrote down a summary of the types of businesses commonly used by Childcare Providers in Virgina.

There is now a new column in the spreadsheet titled Type of Business. Please fill this in for as many of the providers as you can, both new ones you are adding and previous ones you already added.

I've uploaded a docment named ASharedServicesCooperativeForChildcareWorkers.pdf which we discuss in class when we meet next Thursday.

We will have our second progress check-in meeting with Sara and Bella from 1:45 to 2 pm. Here are the questions I'd like to ask them during our meeting:

1. Which columns should we add to the ChildcareProvidersArlingtonVA_2026 spreadsheet to help us gather the most useful information we can in the first iteration of our investigation?
2. Which of the five different types of cooperatives have you found existing in childcare?
3. Do you want us to try to schedule meetings with childcare providers that are cooperatives?

After our meeting we will discuss next tasks and begin working on them.
