CSC 223 Weekly Assignments: Week 11

CSC 223

Plan for the Week

This week is completely unbalanced, with section 3B meeting thrice while section 1A meets only once. To adapt to that, I'll work with 3B to get the read and write numbers to files working on Monday and Wednesday, and then share that with both sections on Thursday and Friday, using it with our sorting library.

Thursday and Friday, April 23rd and 24th

Classwork

During class we will get as far as we can together toward creating a sorting algorithm library that can be used with BDS C in our CP/M environment.

Homework / Evaluation

Study for a comprehensive test during the first day of class next week on Chapter 14: Searching and Sorting in our text. I'll be preparing this test over the weekend. Jake emailed me this working collection of sorts, so you should run the tests yourself, and then study each of the algorithms. Check back on Saturday since I will be making a few small changes to variable names and such to make them more consistant.

You will be provided with a copy of SORT.H with line numbers, but you will not be permitted any other notes!
