As mentioned, to earn an A on your presentation, you will need to have some kind of visualization that makes the operation of your tree algorithm understandable to your audience.
Wednesday and Thursday, March 4th and 5th

Dear Period 1A, I'm out sick today, but I've assigned pairs for the people who were not here last class to choose. Please work with your partner on your presentation due next Monday.
Work with your partner on the tree topics you selected last class. As mentioned, to earn an A on your presentation, you will need to have some kind of visualization that makes the operation of your tree algorithm understandable to your audience.
Monday and Tuesday, March 2nd and 3rd
Classwork / Homework / Evaluation
We will begin class with a short quiz on your reading from last week, followed by an evaluation of your running binary search tree code.
Then we will share the simulations you wrote last week.
Finally, we will pair up, with you selecting your partners for this one, to prepare a presention on the following topics:
- Threaded Binary Trees: Conrad and Jake (3B), Abi and Sean (1A).
- AVL Trees: Dylan and Gabe (3B), Brendan and Nikita (1A).
- Red-Black Trees: Alessandra and Noah (3B), Gabe and Eleanor (1A).
- Splay Trees: Donovan and Anupama (3B), Josh H. (1B), Rockwell and Alex (1A).
